An Introduction to Services-Oriented Architecture
Description
Services-Oriented Architecture is an architectural pattern forcing a shift in how business applications integrate information and control in a distributed environment. The need to create information systems with high reliability, availability, and flexibility has driven the need to consider SOA. SOA decouples information and control, allowing participants to participating in a dynamically extensible distributed environment. SOA is rapidly becoming a mandatory component of many new DoD and business RFPs.
